On-site Activities
Each Bison Homes development has been specially designed as a relaxing getaway from the hustle-bustle of suburban life. On-site trails are perfect for a leisurely stroll, or an invigorating hike. Each of our communities has direct access to national forest, opening up literally thousands of acres to explore by foot, horseback or four-wheelers. A variety of neighborhood activities will be offered seasonally, such as barbecues with yard games, volleyball and special children's activities.
Area Attractions
The nearby Mogollon Rim and White Mountains are home to a host of recreational opportunities. Pure mountain lakes offer fishing and canoeing. There are a multitude of national forest campgrounds in the area, and an abundance of improved hiking trails. For a scenic treat, enjoy the entire length of the Rim Road, or visit a restored cabin site where Zane Grey penned several of his stories of the West.
The many nearby small communities host a variety of seasonal special events, like a logger’s festival, small-town carnivals, bluegrass festivals and art fairs. Sunrise Ski Resort is a pleasant 45 minute drive away, offering downhill skiing, snow boarding and snowmobiling in the winter. |
